AMS Statement Regarding Principal Hitchcock's Resignation |
|
The last few weeks have been a challenging time for Queen's. However, it is now time for all members of the university community to come together, move forward and show their support and commitment to this fine institution. We have complete confidence in the ability of the Board of Trustees to select a strong interim Principal to lead us through this transitional period. Although the Alma Mater Society took a position not to support the reappointment of the Principal, on behalf of the undergraduate student body I wish to thank Dr. Hitchcock for her service to Queen's University and to wish her well in all her future endeavors.
Kingsley Chak
President of Alma Mater Society
